No, I don't believe in this shit, but I find them endlessly amusing to read. Mine for today:

Aquarius
(Jan 20 - Feb 18)

It may feel as if you are nearing the end of the road you are traveling, but you don't have a new path to take yet. Instead of reacting with fear and impulsively doing something you might later regret, try to see your life from a wider point of view. Don't worry about the details of what's happening today; instead, make a long-term plan that is based upon your vision of the future.

http://twittascope.com/?sign=1...

Why, yessssssss. Me needing impulse control? Say it ain't so! Tomorrow's is fairly like me too.

Here's a question. The new blog I've had for a week, but as of yet been unable to access, will be new. Right? The first thing I have to do is get my new password and create user me. Numero uno. Or dos, because soapblox takes uno.

Now, when NP & TBD import the stuff, will the Users come with it, or do they need to re-join? If they have to rejoin, will their work still link to them?

Will I be able to sell low UID's on the black market? Will I again have to ban a bunch of pink trolls? Does your horoscope match you today or tomorrow?

Well, today's morning has just (0.00 / 0)
got to be better than last friday's fiasco of minihellishness.

Off to the grind. Story of my life, all grind, no bump.

Good News! (0.00 / 0)
Paul says that that must indeed be the problem, so when he gets home from work he will make both registars interface!

Yaaaaaaaaaay.

The show MUST go on! Well, at least it should... (0.00 / 0)
I have been so busy that I only get to do the occasional drive-by during the week, but I have missed maybe 2 shows since I first had the good fortune to find this site. I ducked out of a meeting early and rushed home from school today at break-neck speed & I was so sad when I learned that the show is apparently on a potentially permanent hiatus.

Like many others on WWL, it is the one time during the week when I have the opportunity to interact with- or at least listen to- people who can actually see the forest and not just the individual trees (or shrubs) of "hope".

Diane, you and Gott--and of course Ed before he became ill--are not only entertaining, but you each have a solid grasp of the issues of the moment. What I liked the most about the show was that you generally covered a range of sometimes seemingly disparate topics, yet you always managed to identify the common root--our not-so-cleverly disguised capitalist dictatorship.  It wasn't a single-issue show but it had a single purpose: to cut through the bullshit, regardless of its incarnation at the moment, and to speak the truth few people either cared or dared to speak: that the class war has already happened, and we didn't win it. I even stopped listening to Democracy Now! every single day because I knew that I'd learn whatever I needed to learn that mattered every Fri evening.

I hope that whatever has happened to cause the show to disappear--whether it is people's holiday schedules, or illnesses, or costs--can be remedied. You and Gott (and Ed, when he was still around) are some of the most brilliant and well-informed folks out there, and the chemistry amongst all the hosts just worked....and it worked really fucking well. Diane, you are a natural.  You have the perfect talk radio personality + natural intelligence combo the left needs.  That goes for Gott too, the human wikipedia with a made-for-radio voice.  And Ed...well, I cannot help but love anyone who can come up with a string of marvelously offensive adjectives to describe ....well, ANYTHING...on the spot while cussing like a sailor (but more creatively) and managing to still come across as someone with a formidable intellect (I still listen to the 9/11 show sometimes just to hear his opening remark...that was some hilarious shit and I love nothing more than when someone manages to creatively slaughter the most sacred of the sacred cows).

I feel like I know you all personally--including the other regular listeners--and I am really going to miss having each Friday to look forward to.  And now what am I gonna do? For the near future at least, I am mired neck-deep in the river of professorial excrement that is the educational industrial complex--so much so that I have become progressively less-informed about national and international affairs (and everyone thinks getting a PhD will make one better-informed!)...and I no longer have my weekly lifeline to the one news source that provided me with sane, incisive, fearless (and when I say "fearless", I'm talking about cojones larger than King Kong's...it is rather amazing none of you guys-- me too for that matter--have been relocated to a nice cell in that American-owned Cuban resort, complete w/ complementary black hood & electrodes attached to your genitals) and often fucking hilarious commentary on what was REALLY going on in the world.

Diane, I know you have a lot going on, and I doubt anyone would blame you for walking away if that's what you have to do- but know that the show will be dearly missed by a lot of folks. I realize that the show may not have the reach of say, Rachel Maddow at MSNBC, but that doesn't make what you and your fellow host(s) were doing any less vital than some of the corporate-left media superstars. Y'all are actually smarter, more accurate, and you get to say "fuck" and be politically incorrect on the air to boot. Suck on that Amy Goodman (I love Amy--that was just a joke).

I will be keeping my fingers crossed for a WWL Blogtalk Radio comeback. I know it sounds overly-exuberant but I always felt like if the right muckity muck ever heard the show, then it could end up on Sirius or something (where they would quickly learn that herding Howard Stern was mere child's play--I can see Diane body slamming some suit now for daring to tell her she can't say "x" about Israel while Gott does what we fags call "reading" that bitch in a necktie--but in a mellow, intellectual sorta way while Ed barricades himself in the studio, heavily armed, and spends two hours live on the air coming up with 5000 ways to deride the Zionazi's, each zinger more deliciously offensive than the last).

I guess I'll hafta spend that hour on Fri looking at gay porn instead for now.  sigh

Miss y'all.  I'd say "happy holidays", but frankly I fucking hate the "holiday season" and prefer to spend it miserable and brooding. Something fucked up happens every year.  I thought last year couldn't be topped, but a few days ago I learned that my first love from my early 20's (and I mean my first real true love...not "the first dude I blew") committed suicide...and within a matter of days after we last spoke.

So fuck baby Jesus and the goddamn contrived joy his ostensible birth has made us feel obliged to experience by, among other things, spending a shitload of money we don't have every fucking year. And fuck this culture for making things like the loss of a loved one, or financial difficulties, illness, or any major problem for that matter--I believe it is called 'LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'--seem 1000x worse for at least two months.

xoxoxoxo

I should have told you, sorry (0.00 / 0)
but its on indefinite hiatus.

I guess I should have sent out an email on Friday to the usual set who get my show nags that there was no show this week. Sorry you rushed for nothing, dear heart.

Thank you so much for your kind words. Bastard. You choked me all up after I promised myself I wouldn't get weepy ever again. I miss it too.

Yeah. I know. That's the kind of promise a sentimental mushball like me should never make to herself.

But eventually I have to man-up about it.

(Tells herself: Man-up already)

Hard times and hard words and hard life and hard people; I don't wanna be the one who grabs my baseball and stomps off every time something doesn't go my way. I've been through worse and gotten over it. Life is too short, ya know?

You'd think I'd be a hard-ass by now. Heh. Hell, after growing up in my family, where insult was a recreational sport. I blow off steam, I get over it, and expect pretty much the same of everyone else.

Right now, the Holidays are coming and I have a lot going on at home.

We'll just see what tomorrow brings.
